About Genuine

A shop worth calling back.

Fifteen years. One plumber. Same number.

Meet the owner

A licensed plumber picks up the phone.

Justin grew up in Batavia and still drives the same streets to jobs today. He's a licensed master plumber, and he's the one on the line when you call.

No call center. No dispatcher. No "we'll have someone reach out." A plumber answers, listens, and tells you plainly what the visit will cost.

That's the whole pitch. The rest is the work.

Our story

A small shop that answers its own phone.

I started plumbing because the work made sense. You walk into a broken thing, and you walk out leaving it fixed.

Fifteen years later, we're still a shop that answers its own phone. No dispatcher. No call center. A licensed plumber picks up.

Batavia's my hometown. Same drive to a job on Wilson Street that I took as a kid. That's part of why the work gets done right — I'm going to see you at Jewel.

We work on old homes and new ones. 1880s galvanized, mid-century cast iron, 2010s PEX. Each one gets the same diagnostic approach: find the cause, quote it plain, fix it once.

We keep the crew small on purpose. Every job has an owner on-site or on the phone.

That's what it takes to get it right.

The crew

A small team. On every job.
